“...exhausted, but happy...”
Now, that was a weekend. The National Wedding Show at Earls Court has gone around for another year, the first at which we’ve exhibited. We spoke to hundreds of you, and the response was overwhelming. It was great to be able to explain our service to many people who hadn’t yet considered the idea of a honeymoon gift list, but who nonetheless weren’t in the market for a traditional bridal registry of household items.
It was also fabulous to speak to so many of you who’d already heard of us, and had made a special effort to find us at the show. In particular, we loved being able to put faces to names for some of our existing customers. Many thanks for coming over to see us!
Our stand was located next to Berry Scrumptious, who sell wonderful fresh strawberries hand-dipped in Belgian chocolate. Claire, who runs the business from her family farm near Aberdeen, was a really friendly neighbour, and we can attest to the top quality of her produce, since she let us sample the strawberries at the end of each day.
We were opposite Women Photographers, a group of five talented individual photographers operating out of Surrey, and just a short way down from Incognito Artists, who would occasionally treat us all to an impromptu rendition of Nessun Dorma (which, frankly, beats Wannabe any day of the week).
It was a hugely enjoyable, if exhausting, three days. If you didn’t get the chance to talk to us, or if you have any queries about a honeymoon gift list that didn’t occur to you at the time, please do get in touch.
