Towards the end of last year, we received a message from Katie Bowman, features editor of the Sunday Times Travel Magazine, letting us know that she’d written about us for an article on honeymoon gift lists in the February issue.
We were very excited to pick up our copy when it hit the shops, and delighted to see ourselves right there on page 36. Here’s what the magazine says about us:
You can personalise your list online, but unlike other companies it never touches your cash — you pay £55 for the service then guests pay their contribution to you directly — by cheque or into your PayPal account.
Katie was one of our customers in 2008, although we had no idea at the time that she was a journalist. When she wrote to us, she was kind enough to provide a really lovely testimonial. Here’s her personal feedback:
We have used your service and thought it fantastic — we couldn’t fault the website in any way. It’s a great concept that gave us the chance to use your design skills, but maintain total autonomy when it came to cash.
Thank-you, Katie!
We’re always very grateful for any feedback our customers may have for us. Of course, we love to receive success stories such as Katie’s — but we want to hear about any queries or concerns you may have too. We’ll always do our best to help where we possibly can.
We were also highlighted in the Gift Lists section of the February issue of Wedding Ideas magazine here in the UK, and we’ve started a new relationship with the fantastic Matador Network in the US. Matador publish a number of blogs, each exploring a different aspect of travel, and fostering a community of ethical, passionate travellers. We’re very happy to be working with them!
